Il 23 gennaio segnerà la tredicesima edizione dei New York Game Awards, organizzati dal New York Videogame Critics Circle (NYVGCC), e saranno assegnati premi in diverse categorie. Inoltre, durante l’evento, Neil Druckmann, capo di Naughty Dog, riceverà il prestigioso riconoscimento Andrew Yoon Legend Award per la sua carriera.
Il candidato più nominato è Baldur’s Gate 3 con 6 candidature, seguito da Alan Wake 2 e Cyberpunk 2077 con 5. La categoria “Big Apple Award for Best Game of the Year” vede in lizza titoli come Alan Wake II, Baldur’s Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, e altri, con Starfield tra i contendenti per il titolo di Best Game of the Year.
